Privacy notice

• Waitlist: your email address, your first name if you give it, the optional "I'm joining as…" answer, your consent and the time you gave it, plus the page and referrer that brought you here.
• Reasons to Stay notes: your note, an optional display name, an optional theme, and whether you ticked the publication consent box.
• Partner enquiries: your name, email, organisation if given, area of interest and message.

We don't sell your data, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't ask for information we don't need.

To send you the launch updates and newsletter you asked for, to review and publish community notes, and to respond to funding, partnership and mentoring enquiries.

For emails, we rely on your consent — the tick box is never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw consent at any time. For enquiries and community notes we rely on legitimate interests in running and developing the organisation, and on your consent where a note is published.

Notes are never published automatically. Every submission is held for review by a person and only appears publicly if it is approved. We ask you not to include private identifying information. If a note appears to describe urgent risk, it stays unpublished and is reviewed carefully — we do not monitor submissions 24/7 and we are not a crisis service.

Waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Rejected notes are deleted periodically.

In a secure, access-controlled database hosted by our infrastructure provider. Only authenticated Safe With Me administrators can read waitlist entries and enquiries; members of the public can only ever see notes that have been approved for publication.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent, or object to how we use it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not require an explanation. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only what's needed for the site to function.
